Housing Authority: Contra Costa County

Offers low-income families the ability to rent quality housing of their choice within the private market using federal funds.

Empowered Aging

Provides services for long-term care residents and advocates help to resolve complaints of abuse, neglect, or exploitation within the senior community.

Meals on Wheels: Contra Costa County

Delivering free meals and home safety services to at-risk senior citizens who qualify for the program.

CCSLS

Free legal services in preservation of housing, prevention of abuse, and planning for incapacity.

Centers For Elders Independence

Paid for by Medicare and Medical, free services to live safely and independently at home.

Choice in Aging

A wide variety of programs, with the goal of promoting dignity and independence of people with disabilities and special needs.

Adult Protective Services

ADS provides assistance 24-hours a day to elderly and dependent individuals who are victims of physical, emotional or financial harm or abuse.

Information & Assistance

I&A uses professional social workers and assists people with accessing community resources to maximize living independently in the community.

Area Agency on Aging

Provides leadership to support older Californians through community-based care, promoting independence, quality of life, and public involvement.

CalFresh (Food Stamp) Program

helps to improve the health and well-being of qualified households and individuals by providing them a means to meet their nutritional needs.

Crisis Center Services

Provides 24-hour crisis lines, crisis-response training, face-to-face grief counseling program, homeless services, and the 211 information and referral program to keep people alive and safe.
